I was in the UK recently to attend the Baptiste Yoga Level One training in Norfolk, UK at West Lexham!
But of course, way before that, my main concern was the cold. I am horrible with cold weather. We all know Singapore is hot and humid! But what’s up with the aircon in the shopping centres and at home, you don't say!?
When the T watches his TV under an 16 degrees cold air, I am permanently hiding underneath my blanket, or putting my cold feet over his nice warm ones! Imagine when we went to Myanmar in June 2016, everyone was telling me it was going to be cold, because it was the rainy season. I totally forgot that Myanmar has a temperate climate much like Singapore - I overpacked as usual and so I was sweating my buns off in my #cuteyogapants.
So back to the UK cold weather, I was desperately looking for a fleece sweatpants, tops, winter leggings etc, because I’ve never practiced in cold weather before. I do remember I did one yoga session in Whistler, Canada, and I was wearing long sleeves, and woolen leggings underneath my tights! That was winter, winter! And it is supposedly autumn in UK, but I am “just-in-case” kind of girl. :P
I was eyeing this pair of fleece sweatpants from Monrow USA but it costs US$146 before shipping, and I didn’t think it was worth buying it as I probably would use it once or when I am sick or back in cold weather.
My bright idea was maybe it would be cheaper if I order conline from the UK shops and then have it sent over to the UK house prior to my arrival.
Thus, began my search and I found some absolute gems. And I thought I’d share it with you girls, especially those living in the UK/Europe, or travelling to the UK!!
